The reason why I haven’t blogged a wedding in a while? Because I knew it would take me forever to actually pick a reasonable number of images to post from Mindy & Mark’s summer wedding at Terrain. You see, Mindy & Mark… you might remember them from their lovely field engagement session, or their fun cooking session, or maybe even from my old bridal show booth display (that’s them in the upper right), or when I mentioned that their wedding was featured on 100 Layer Cake (!!). But, the fact of the matter is that I am honored to say that Mindy & Mark over the last two years have become amazing friends of mine. And, so, I spent their entire wedding day pinching myself at being so lucky to be a part of their day.
Add that to the fact that it was a beautiful day, at a beautiful venue (I love you, Terrain), and with a lovely group of people. It was, quite honestly, perfection.
Here are just a couple favorites. If I shared aaaaall of my favorites you’d be here all day.
Mindy’s adorable little nephew hand-delivered her gift and a note from Mark. How cute are they?
And, of course, Mark’s gift was so sweet Mindy cried.
Always one of my favorite shots…. all the girls hovered around the bride!
Meanwhile, the boys were getting ready too…
…and more notes were hand-delivered by a special messenger. 😉
THEN ON TO THE FIRST LOOK!
And then it was time for the ceremony. With handmade wedding program popcorn bags. Seriously, are these not amazing?!
After the American ceremony, they gave a nod to Chinese tradition by following it with a Chinese Tea Ceremony.
But not, of course, before Mindy changed into her gorgeous red quipao.
…and then it was party time! Check out all the amazing details Mindy & Mark made themselves….. centerpieces, florals, frames, decor. They thought of everything and it totally shows how detail-conscious they are. It truly tied so well together into a breath-taking result.
