Yea. You read that right. I was debating between that as a post title and “I WENT ON A SHOPPING SPREE” – but the Neosporin® part was just naturally more intriguing, I think. Why, you might ask? Welp, at Michele & Ed’s wedding on Saturday I took a wedding faceplant. On brick stairs. My nice suit pants? Definitely had holes in the knees after that. Thankfully, all it was was bruises, a little blood, and a lot of embarrassment (actually, who are we kidding? I don’t get embarrassed that easily.). More importantly, I completed what I am now proudly calling “the best football catch of all time.” As I fell to the ground I just heard on repeat in my head “HOLD UP YOUR GEAR HOLD UP YOUR GEAR HOLD UP YOUR GEAR.” And, I landed on both elbows and both knees, with my camera safely planted in my hands… not once touching pavement. Phew!
But this week’s to do list? Definitely involved new pants, a new suit jacket, and new shoes (believe it or not, I managed to even scrape up my shoes in the fall – no joke). Somehow, I’m not complaining though.
Nonetheless, Michele & Ed’s wedding day was simply beautiful. Easy-going, low stress, and so meaningful. The whole thing. For now here’s a preview just to getcha going.

And on Sunday? I had the pleasure of meeting up with Gayle and Sam to tromp around the city (and Old City, and UPenn Campus… actually now that I’m thinking about it, we really covered some ground!). We started out at UPenn campus, headed over to South street for a few, then made our way to – always the favorite – Bartram’s Garden. Here’s a peek at the fun we had:

And, are you sick of all my sneak peeks? Good news for you: REAL POSTS COMING SOON. In fact, Ceara & Michael (remember them?) will be up tomorrow morning. You can hold me to it – it’s already scheduled and everything just so I can’t lie anymore about when it’s going to post. And believe me, there are a whole bunch right behind them.
Enjoy! Oh yeah, and happy Cinco de Mayo (when did it get to be the 5th of May? Where is 2011 going?)!
