MEET BABY HENRY

Last week I had the incredible privilege to get to photograph one of the sweetest, most adorable babies on the planet [although in the interest of full disclosure, I might be a little biased]. At only thirteen months, Henry takes on the world like I have never seen before. With his eyes open wide he explores relentlessly. Laughs continuously. Heck, he even shares his food.

In watching him, I tried to experience the world through his eyes. The constant excitement. The new experiences. The fascination in little things. Simply wearing his grandfather’s hat would bring him instant pleasure. And then I realized, that if only we could all have a little child in us. Just a tiny fragment of that innocence – that optimism – the world would be an infinitely better place. See for yourselves…

Thank you Henry, for letting me see the world through your big blue eyes.
May you continue to inspire those around you as you grow into that big hat of yours.

Allison Cass - He’s as adorable in pics as he is in person!!! ;)

What a little heartbreaker! :) June 22, 2010 – 11:08 AM

Kari - Amanda, he is such a doll! And your pictures are amazing! Congrats love! I hope you are loving Philadelphia. :O)June 22, 2010 – 11:24 AM

Erica Nikolaidis - AH! This mixed gasp/sob sentiment is exactly how I felt after seeing the photos and reading your lovely blog entry. Hank is an excellent subject, but your skill as a photographer is what yielded such gorgeous photos that really capture the essence of him. My little man, joyously consuming (literally and figuratively) the world around him. Thanks so much, Amanda. BEST. AUNT. EVER.June 22, 2010 – 11:34 AM

Erinn - GAH, I am loooooving these! He is so sweet, and that messy baby hair, OMG. So precious!June 22, 2010 – 12:23 PM

deenik01 - OMG…these are adorable beyond belief. He is a great “subject” but your capturing him in such natural moments is so endearing. You have a great eye…and really got some awesome shots !!!
Thanks for capturing the memories !
